Media Alert: Foxfield Races’ Fall Family Day This Sunday

(Charlottesville, VA – September 27, 2022) Albemarle County’s signature Steeplechase racing event, the Foxfield Races, will host its Fall Family Day this Sunday. Children ages 8 and under are free and can enjoy activities in the Children’s Tent, which will host Habitat’s LEGO-building competition, ACAC’s family obstacle course, Foxfield’s Stick Pony Creation Station, dance performances by The Wilson School of Dance, and The Hive Cville’s craft project. A “truck touch” will also be onsite, featuring vehicles from Faulconer Construction, Tiger Fuel, Allied Concrete, Albemarle County Police Department, and Hilliard Estate and Land Management. Foxfield Races will once again donate a portion of proceeds to its long-term partner Habitat for Humanity of Greater Charlottesville and hopes to match the $50,000 gift
from last fall’s race.

Foxfield is continuing to enhance the race-day experience. For the first time in its history, Foxfield is issuing electronic tickets for general admission tickets and parking hang tags, which will be emailed to attendees. The four tickets that come with a reserved parking space will also be emailed (reserved parking hang tags will continue to be mailed). Foxfield is also offering a chance for race attendees and community members to win $2,500 in prizes through a contest hosted on the online app StableDuel. You don’t have to attend to win!

Last-minute tickets and general admission parking are available on Foxfield’s online
ticketing platform at www.foxfieldraces.com.
