Save the date for our Fall Races: Sunday, October 1, 2023!

Dress for the weather as the meets are held rain or shine. Due to the grassy terrain, flat-soled shoes or boots are always recommended.

While you might be busy with social activities, engaging in the races is of course the main event. Find a horse person (they’re easily located and plentiful) and have them teach you how to read a race card, and pick out your favorite to win. Cheer from the sidelines as the magnificent thoroughbreds gallop and jump for miles surrounding the property. Bring your camera!

All in all, a day at the races in the beautiful Virginia countryside is a once-in-a-lifetime experience unless you join the ranks of numerous attendees who return both spring and fall!
