Student Information - Foxfield Tickets, Transportation, Etc.

Tickets: A new anti-counterfeit Foxfield ticket design will be used for the first time in 2008. These tickets employ special printing methods which cannot be duplicated on most copying machines. Any person caught with a counterfeit ticket will be arrested and prosecuted by the Commonwealth's Attorney's Office and reported to their University's Disciplinary Board.

NEW INFORMATON Private Buses: Foxfield was expecting to locate 2 off-grounds staging area for buses. However, we will now be doing the inspection at Foxfieldm after the bus has entered the West Gate.
Please plan to get to the races no earlier than 10:30 AM, when the gates open. For those buses coming from far away, please refer to the drive tmes on MapQuest.
Please be sure that every person on the bus has a ticket attached to his/her clothing and in plain view. Please refrain from drinking alcoholic beverages on the bus.
If your bus arrives with drunken people aboard you may no be allowed to attend the races.

Cooler Regulations: The maximum size of any cooler coming onto the Foxfield grounds must be no larger than L 30" x W 17" x H 18". All alcoholic beverages being brought onto the Foxfield grounds must be contained within this cooler size. Alcoholic beverages being transported outside of a cooler will be confiscated.

No alcoholic beverage paraphernalia is allowed on the Foxfield Grounds including but not limited to:

You may leave your car overnight, or longer if needed, in your parking space or in invitation parking . Do not drive if you have been drinking alcohol. Please refer below to the alternative ways home. These will also be listed in the race day program. DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE. RESPONSIBILITY MATTERS! The general admission ticket is now called the Invitation Ticket. General admission parking is now called Invitation Parking. Foxfield has reinstated the Invitation Parking fee due to the traffic situation. Foxfield hopes that this fee will encourage carpooling.

Buying Tickets Online: Once again musictoday.com will be selling our invitation tickets, invitation parking, and green and orange infield parking spaces. Please pause and read the agreement between your initial order and the final purchase. This very carefully outlines what is expected of you at the races. When you buy a ticket or a parking place, you have agreed to these conditions.
